Arts and Contemporary Studies Course Union
The purpose of Toronto Metropolitan University's Arts and Contemporary Studies Course Union is to offer an interdisciplinary learning experience that blends the humanities and social sciences. The program empowers students to become leaders and changemakers by fostering critical thinking, creativity, and research skills. Through collaborative events, histories, cultures, and contemporary issues, ACS encourages cultural awareness and a deeper understanding of the world.

Criminology Couse Union
The purpose of the Criminology Course Union shall be to represent, promote, and advance the interests of students enrolled in the undergraduate Criminology program. The Union shall strive to enhance the social and professional relationships between students, faculty members and community leaders in order to provide the best academic and social experience possible. Through the creation of engaging events and initiatives, the Union shall promote equity, diversity and inclusivity, and encourage all members to participate in university affairs which will foster a sense of community within the Criminology program.

The English Course Union (ECU) at Toronto Metropolitan University is a vibrant and welcoming community dedicated to enhancing the academic, social, and professional development of English students. With a rich lineup of events ranging from engaging social gatherings to academic workshops and professional development opportunities, we strive to offer a well-rounded experience that complements the educational journey of our members.

SAGA Geographic Analysis Course Union
The purpose of the Student Association of Geographic Analysis (SAGA) at Toronto Metropolitan University is to represent and support students in the Geographic Analysis program. SAGA fosters academic and professional growth by providing opportunities for networking, skill development, and community engagement. Through events, workshops, and initiatives, the association promotes spatial awareness, geographic research, and the application of geospatial technologies while encouraging collaboration among students, faculty, and industry professionals.

Metropolitan History Society
The History Course Union (HCU) at Toronto Metropolitan University represents and supports students in the History program by fostering academic and social engagement. Through a variety of events and initiatives, the HCU promotes historical inquiry, professional development, and community building. As the home of the Endnote Undergraduate History Journal, the union provides students with opportunities to showcase their research and contribute to scholarly discussions while connecting with peers and faculty.

Economics and Finance Course Union
The International Economics and Finance Course Union (IECON) is a group filled with like minded individuals who are passionate about the world of both Economics and Finance. Hosting a wide variety of events ranging from Career Building Workshops to Socials and Networking Panels with Industry Professionals and our thriving alumni network. IECON has everything you are looking for when it comes to meeting like minded individuals and further developing your skills needed for a prominent future post graduation.

Philosophy Course Union
The Philosophy Course Union at Toronto Metropolitan University represents the academic, social, and professional interests of undergraduate Philosophy students. Through events, discussions, and initiatives, the union fosters critical thinking, philosophical inquiry, and community engagement. It provides opportunities for students to connect with peers, faculty, and professionals while supporting intellectual growth and promoting the value of philosophical study.

Politics and Governance Students' Association
The Politics and Governance Student Association (POGSA) is the Course Union representig 400+ Politics & Governance undergraduate students at Toronto Metropolitan University. T governance of the Course Union is carried out by the Course Union Governing Council (hereafter referred to as "Governing Council"). POGSA's mandate is to actively and effectively engage with students in the Politics and Governance program in order to enrich their experience at Toronto Metropolitan. POGSA strictly adheres to conduct which ensures maximum accessibility, equity, and sustainability for its membership, including operating as a nonpartisan body to serve the varied political interests of its students.

Psychology Students' Association
The Psychology Students' Association is a collective of full-time Psychology students that works to advocate for the rights and needs of the students within the Toronto Metropolitan University Psychology (BA) program. Throughout the year, we work to coordinate events and offer guidance to our classmates, with the goal of creating a community that is welcoming to all. The governance of the Course Union is carried out by the Course Union Governance Council.

Sociology Student Union
The Sociology Student Union is a course union that works to represent all students that are enrolled in the Sociology program. The SSU works to support our student body academically and personally throughout their time at TMU. Our union upholds a standard of accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion and we are constantly working to implement these values into our everyday lives. We are dedicated to welcoming and supporting all students regardless of their background and strive to make everyone feel comfortable and accepted.

Environment and Urban Sustainability Students Association
The Environment and Urban Sustainability Students' Association's objective is to promote the interests of the students in the Environment and Urban Sustainability program, to plan and execute events and initiatives in their best interest, and to foster a stronger sense of community within the program as well as throughout the university. The governance of the Course Union is carried out by the Course Union Governance Council.

French For All
French For All is a student group that strives to build a community of French learners at Toronto Metropolitan University. Through dynamic social events and unique activities, we empower students to develop their spoken French in a fun and engaging way. Nevertheless, FFA ensures that nurturing and supportive spaces are created to allow for students of all proficiency of French to participate in the learning experience!

The Continuist
The Continuist was established in 2010 to provide a platform for the artistic endeavours of Toronto Metropolitan University students. By creating small publications and hosting social events both online and in-person, The Continuist strives to promote the artwork and interests of all creatives at our University, as well as to create a fun, vibrant, and inclusive student-based collective that reaches beyond the campus and into the wider Toronto arts community.

TMU Women In Law
The mandate of the Women in Law group is to break the glass ceiling that persists in the legal profession by building a strong community that supports and empowers women and members of the LGBTQ+ community who want to pursue careers in law. Programs created will aim at assisting women and members of the LGBTQ+ community in their educational and career endeavors by offering LSAT tips, information on law schools, and professional advice.

Women of Colour In Law
WOCinLaw, which stands for Women of Color in Law, is a student group within Toronto Metropolitan University that supports women of colour on their prelaw journey. Crafted by and for women of colour, WOCinLaw fosters a safe, nurturing, and inclusive sisterhood environment, empowering undergraduate women of colour students with accessible resources.

TMU Bhakti Yoga Club
The Bhakti Yoga Club, is a spiritual community dedicated to exploring and practicing the principles of Bhakti Yoga. This ancient yoga practice emphasizes the practice of spirituality through meditation and selfless service. BYC provides a space for students to gather and engage in such yogic practices, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages personal growth and spiritual development.
Through its events and activities, BYC aims to inspire individuals to deepen their spiritual practices, connect with like-minded individuals, and ultimately develop a more profound relationship with the divine.

Innocence TMU
Innocence TMU is an affiliate group dedicated to providing Toronto Metropolitan University undergraduate students with opportunities to raise awareness and engage with Innocence Canada. Through educational events, advocacy initiatives, and volunteer opportunities, the group supports the fight against wrongful convictions while fostering a deeper understanding of the Canadian justice system.
